Eternally Home 

What is Eternally Home?

CASA For Kids has partnered with the Public Defenders’ office to pilot the Eternally Home program in Monongalia County to provide family-centered support for Monongalia County families.

 

With the help of our community partners we provide families with:

  • Immediate needs such as clothing, food, and other essentials.

  • Family and individual goal setting and achivement such as obtaining employment, stabilizing housing, expanding community ties, etc.

  • Providing parenting resources.

  • Assistance with obtaining other services, benefits, and assistance.

 

Our goal is that every family in Monongalia County will have a safe, stable, and eternal home.

Any family living in Monongalia county with at least one child aged 0-17 who would benefit from extra support in achieving their family's goals.

Who can enroll in Eternally Home?

Are there income limitations?

No, we are able to serve any family in Monongalia county regardless of income.

How does a family enroll ?

Families interested in enrolling in Eternally Home can submit a self-referral form. Your family can also be referred by a community provider.

What is the intake  process like?

Following your referral, your coordinator will schedule a family interview with you. They'll go over what the program does and learn about your family and unique needs and goals. This meeting can happen in our office, at your home, our out in the community. If at this time you have any immediate needs, your coordinator will make sure that those needs are fulfilled.

What services does Eternally Home not  provide?

Eternally Home does not provide the following services at this time:

  • Direct financial assistance such as rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.

  • Transportation.

However we can refer you to community partners who do.

What happens if we complete our goals?

Our goal is not only to get you to your family's end goal, but to celebrate your wins with you. Families who complete their goals will be celebrated with a program graduation ceremony!​ Your coordinator will continue to check in with you on a regular basis for 6 months and you can reach out to them at any time following program completion for additional support.
