Get Involved
CASA For Kids has multiple ways to get involved with our program and make a difference in a child's life! The first way is to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer. If you don't feel like you have the time to become a CASA volunteer, you can become a Friend of CASA. This volunteer opportunity ranges from helping planning events/fundraisers, admin work, and other tasks. The third way is to financially contribute to our program. Check out each page to learn more about each opportunity.

There are no special educational or professional requirements, but advocates must be 21 years old. Volunteers are carefully screened and receive 30 hours of training before being assigned to children.
The CASA volunteer’s primary responsibility is to serve as the “eyes and ears” of the Court, gathering information from the child, his/her biological parents, foster parents, teachers, counselors, etc. and make recommendations to the judge as to what is in the child’s best interest.

CASA For Kids is always in need of volunteers outside of our advocates. If you are an individual that may not be able to be an advocate for a child we have opportunities to help with fundraising, event-planning, volunteer recruitment, administrative work, etc. For more information, please call us at (304) 599-1087 or email us at Brooke@casaforkidsmpc.org

CASA For KIDS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that relies on grant funding and donations.
